How do you easily find the center of a circle for drilling without have to break out your protractor or dust of your math skills? I can help you with that!
If you’ve ever needed to drill the center of a circle for a home improvement or craft project and you’ve tried to eyeball it then you know things can go wrong really fast.
Don’t Sweat It!
I’ve been there too but now I know the secret thanks to the OG AKA – Dad. I call him the OG of DIY because he was doing this stuff long before there was a DIY Network or HGTV. He’s is an OB but he says OG just stands for Old Guy.
He showed me the way to find the center every time and it’s very easy. I’m so glad he jumped in before I did something drastic on this project.

Watch the video and you’ll never be stuck again!
This was such a simple trick that when Dad taught it to me I couldn’t believe I hadn’t figured it out on my own. I was over thinking it and making it harder in my head than it really was. Isn’t that always the way!
I then get project atrophy where I can’t move forward to finish my project until I somehow sort it out in my brain. The project in the video had been sitting for two months. I mulled over how I was going to drill that circle. Part of me was so frustrated I was ready for it to be off-center. I’m glad the OG rescued me (again).
Have you ever had a home DIY project that you really thought was harder than it actually was in the end? If so I would love to hear about it. Comment down below and let me know about you DIY projects.
Many blessings to you!
